Artists may submit up to 2 images of original artwork and a maximum of 5 photographs in a collection.
*Submit your images on a Google Doc as per our formatting guidelines. If the piece is accepted, only then will we ask for the original file, which must be at minimum 300 dpi and a .jpg file type, so prepare ahead!
*If your work is a physical product, please upload a picture in decent lighting/angles!
Artists may submit up to 2 pieces of original composition/audio as separate submissions. Artists must upload a link to the work for online access (YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc.) along with any sheet music and/or lyrics available. Please include this link within the document submitted.
*Offer a brief quote with an explanation/summary of the piece at the beginning of the document.
Writers may submit up to 3 poems as separate submissions.
*Submissions may not exceed 3 pages total.
Writers may submit up to 2 pieces of fiction (including traditional short stories, short plays, and short screenplays) and/or up to 2 pieces of non-fiction as separate submissions.
*Submissions may not exceed 12 pages total (about 3,500 words double-spaced).
Please read the following information carefully. Violation of our formatting guidelines will result in automatic disqualification.
Please submit your piece via a Google Doc link, with the share settings as "Anyone with the link can view". If our editors run into an accessibility error, they will disregard your piece.
Please title your piece with your last name, first name, and the title of your work following this format: Last, First - Title.
Please keep any personal identifying information out of your piece. Your name should not be anywhere on the actual document, only in the file/document title. Your piece should be formatted single spaced in black Times New Roman, pt. 12 font. Skip lines as needed for your piece's expression.
The first line of your document must have the title of your work bold and underlined. Then skip 2 lines and begin the content of your piece.
