Please be incredibly careful and cordial when contacting students and other contacts as a representative of NTR. Double-check email addresses, titles of works, and acceptance/rejection statuses to avoid any conflict or accidental acceptance/rejection. These students are entrusting us with their personal work and spend years trying for publication, and simple accidents on our end cause a lot of upset and distrust in them and spoils our name as a reputable university press.
General emails (signed by NTR, NTR Exec Team, NTR Prose Team, etc.) should remain as firm and professional as possible. Personalized emails should be more agreeable, positive/empathetic - all should reflect in relevant structure, wording, and punctuation.
Please use correct grammar, structure, spelling, and professionalism in any communications under NTR, and refer to the templates below for certain word usage, phrases, structure, and more.
Anything bolded or blanked out should be replaced with accurate and up-to-date information.
Below are workshop sign-up links that can be edited minimally/kept up-to-date through the NTR Google Drive. Specific ranges are protected so these can be easily sent out to students without messing with our settings.
As of now, official workshop sign-ups are only offered to UNT prose & poetry submissions, but editors from all genres are free to communicate with their accepted authors if they wish to work on a piece.
